The Reason You Teach - I want to teach people how to become skilled movers and ensure they can use their bodies to their full potential. Everyone should have the chance to experience a better quality of life. We are only given one body in this life, and we need to make the most of it. Most importantly, exercise should be fun!
Your Motivation or Inspiration - My inspiration has been Steve Prefontaine and his journey to compete in the Olympics.
Your Mentor - One figure that has been around during my sporting life is my athletics coach, Denise Boyd. She has taught me a lot about handling life within and away from sport. Although I have no particular person as a mentor, I take on wisdom from many people I meet, but my university teachers have had the greatest impact on my approach to training.
